I used my foot to bend the hinge down and a screwdriver to move the locking pin back into place just in case the hinge snapped back i didn t want my fingers near it.
So place your wrench on the barrel that s atached to the door.

Reinsert the pin and check.
So tighten the wrench on the knuckles that are attached to the door and bend those knuckles toward the lock stile.
Maybe the level is off or the hinge side is not perfectly plumb.
Then bend the hinge barrel toward the lockset the movement is counter intuitive but once the hinge pin is drive back into the hinge the door will move back toward the hinge jamb.
Remove the hinge pin and bend the door side knuckles toward the door handle.
Anytime you bend over to pick something up you should be bending from the hips and not arching your back.
If you bend the leaf that s attached to the jamb you ll close up the leaf gap instantly and the hinge will be leaf bound.
Once you drive the pin back in that bent leaf will shift back toward the hinge jamb.
If a hinge leaf is recessed below the surface of the jamb or the door edge the door will not close well and the hinge will bend when you close it.
If i push it closed it looks like the hinges flex or move a little.

Set an open ended adjustable wrench also called a crescent wrench just larger than the hinge knuckle.

I ve put in 10 though and only 2 bind.
